Please watch for several new features to the High-Tc Update Superconductivity site |
The High-Tc Update Web site is undergoing much change! The Department of Physics and Astronomy, Iowa State University, has offered to take the High-Tc Update project under its wing and help in its development into a premiere Web-based research tool. However, we need your help to make it a success.
Although we will no longer have bi-weekly newsletters, we will continue to provide new preprint listings, information about new books and conferences, tech transfer and product development information, job openings and other valuable links relevant to researchers in the high-Tc superconductivity field. However we do need support to continue this effort. Please donate generously if you find this Web site useful and would like to see the project continue. To make a donation, follow the instructions on our "High-Tc Update Donors" page. For information on sponsorship (with your link on our home page), e-mail us.
You can already see several new features at the site. A completely new page design is in progress and will provide much better navigation options. In the meantime, please note:
1. The New Preprints list is already featured at the site, and will be updated every 30-45 days. Please help us expand this list by send ing us your papers to be listed via this electronic form. In contrast to our previous requirements, we will now ONLY ACCEPT papers electronically and not as hard copy.
New Feature! We will now add abstracts to the database that will be available at the HTCU Web site soon. Please submit abstracts with your preprint information. This will make the database even more valuable!
2. The Coming Events list has been updated, and you can help us expand this list by submitting information on upcoming conferences via this form.
3.Our extensive HTCU database is now online! There is information on more than 65,500 papers at this site, and the database includes ALL preprints published in High-Tc Update, as well as numerous published journal articles and conference proceedings!
(Abstracts are available for most papers received since May 2000!)
