I received my B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Iowa State in May 1993. I am currently working on an M.S. degree in Computational Fluid Dynamics, mostly because I like to make cool pictures. My major professor is Dr. Susan Ying who works over in the Scalable Computing Laboratory.

Current Projects

I am working with Dr. Ying to study the performance of a 2D Euler solver on the nCUBE 2s parallel supercomputer.

The performance was evaluated on a Mach 2 channel flow by varying the number of processors, grid size, and domain decomposition. A sample solution computed on a 641x129 grid using 64 processors is shown below. For more information, send me email.
